Retrosound Hermosa or Custom Autosound?

Retrosound Hermosa or Custom Autosound?
I installed a Retro Sound Hermosa in my '85. The shafts are a pain, but I used the factory radio to help with the measurements. Blue tooth and phone work great. I did have one shaft become defective. Retro Sound service was great and sent two replacements out.- Craig 85

speedo cable ( question # 432 )
Just a stab in the dark. The 4x4 is probably the longer one. The speedo cable attaches to the transfer case, not the transmission like a 2WD.- Craig 85

Another episode of whats this connector?
The open space in #9 is for the 4 way flasher. The hose right of #4 is the vacuum cut off for the cruise control.- Craig 85

Welcome. I live in Commieformia and have to get my truck tested every two years. Napa had the ported vacuum switches I needed, but they are getting hard to come by and there are numerous variations even for the same year truck depending on Fed or Calif emissions.- Craig 85

What power steering pump do I need
Not sure what all years had them, but the oldest I found for light duty vehicle was 65-67 Big Block Chevelles and El Caminos. OPGI sells reproduction parts for it. No. This truck had a 4" Tuff Country EZ Ride front springs with a 4" rear block and the stock 1/2 ton rear springs. With the ORD sway bar disconnect kit, it was the best riding 4WD Square Body I've had out of the 6 I've owned.- Craig 85

In my case, my K15 had a 12 bolt, but 3.08 gears and a peg leg. It already had a 4' lift and 33's. I didn't like the wheels it came with and by the time I changed gears and wheels plus add a posi, it wasn't going to be worth it. Differential gear conundrum
I use Permatex Right Stuff gasket maker and a gasket. They have small bottles available. Also when the cover is off, look at the numbers stamped on the ring gear. It will tell you the ratio you actually have. In the photos below, the 7 digit numbers starting with 3 is the part number. 10...- Craig 85

81-87 Silverado / Sierra Classic Door Panels
I wanted the cloth inserts and Silverado style trim, but not the map pockets or pull straps. It will look similar to what I did on my '79, except those were Scottsdale door panels. -

81-87 Silverado / Sierra Classic Door Panels
Not sure if it's dye or paint. The back side is black plastic. FYI they must paint them to order. I had a hand written date on the back with the color code and a date 3 days after I ordered them. -
