    The pump mark lines up exactly with the mark on the engine. Even so I did move it a width to the left of the engine mark. I will try it the other side. A little goes a long way. My Ford 4000 diesel, a 1968 model, runs a couple degrees advanced.

    Injectors were just rebuilt by the injector pump shop. I cannot find a compression tester that will work on my engine short of loading and towing 70 miles one way and waiting for them to get around to it

    3 of the 4 are probably 15 years old. I replaced one last summer with the exact same tires, Duro is the brand. It does indeed say F 78 15 on it. They are bias belt tires

    What rating tires do I need for my trailer? 16 ‘ x 6.5’ rated for 7000 lbs GVW 2 axle trailer is 2000 lbs leaving 5000 lbs for cargo. I use it to transport my 1968 Ford 4000 tractor or1968 Massey Ferguson 135 tractor. The Ford is 4850 lbs so yes I do push it but transport rarely exceeds 55 mph.

    Hooked it all up today. Toggle switch works great. Charging starts @ just over 500 rpm. Continues to charge @ 13.7 volts after I turn off the toggle switch. Once I stop the motor ammeter drops to 0. Thanks again all!

I took off the heads and had them Redone, replaced timing gears, chain, oil pump, and added MSD 6a box and pro billet distributor I did not put any sealant on the head bolts when I put the heads back on.     Michael, thanks for the reply! I did not retorque the head bolts after the install nor did I use sealant on the intake anywhere except the front and back in lieu of gaskets I will address those areas after doing due diligence with a compression test
