    That is a good comprehensive start but RPO codes do get reused, so it's important to use a contemporaneous (aka "back in the day") list like the generic info packets in the GM Heritage Center archives when possible.     "No spare" was also the base condition. If you didn't think about it or specify one then you weren't getting a spare tire. K

    Here's the set up I made and ran many years ago when I had the flat hood on the Chevelle. The driver side tube is intact; the passenger side tube is cobbled.

    The V8 version used one side; 6 cylinder used the other. My recollection is that a difference in starter location drove a difference in primary battery location, which drove the different air inlet side. K

    Yes - I did that when I picked the body off the frame on the Chevelle. It kept the overall cribbing lower and allowed me to scoot the chassis side to side for alignment when going back together. K

    I use these little commercially available carts like this. Mine rode around in the back on my truck for about 90 minutes yesterday.
