Opinions on cutting out catalytic converters.
Thanks for the reply. I knod of figured that it was "missing" a cat considering that every vacuume hose related to the remaining emissions and EGR are missing! They have been gone long enough for a mud dobber to build a home in the vacuum port on the EGR.....- mikeoverland

What have you done to your square lately??
I got the fuel from a gas tank that was *supposed* to be plugged up, to the carburator. Now to replace the rusted in, nasy and throughly clogged fuel filter........ I did bench test the radio and i get to put that back in next....- mikeoverland

Does the 81 C10 even have a Cat? I ask since there is no cat on the truck, no place where one was and no O2 sensor. The vehicle DOES (kind of) have an EGR valve........- mikeoverland

My name is Mike and I recently scored the deal of all deals. I got a 1981 C10 stepside for 400$ COMPLETE! (200$ to tow it home and 200$ to buy it) The vehicle needs everything but all of the parts are there and the 250/I6 runs. As i get time and money i'm slowly fixing this beast up...- mikeoverland
