    The bed bolts together. The bed sides inner and outer panels are welded together then bolt to the floor and the front panel. There are two small welds where the rear stake pocket meets the floor easy to cut with a grinder. Looks like another weld on the leg down, behind the tailgate trunion

    It has nothing for any type of choke. Well Duh! I was reading that an electric choke won't mount to the old style carb. I guess I'll have to tear it apart and take a better look.

    I was thinking that since it was screwed to the tank it might be a common ground, but you could be right, the ground on the sending unit might be isolated. I might dig out my new unit and test it out

    Question for someone who knows, I don't think the sending unit is isolated, so if the tank shows it's grounded wouldn't the sending unit also be grounded? So instead for trying to get to the ground wire, just check continuity of the tank to confirm ground?
