Welcome that's a great story. Not trying to tell you want to do, but I hope that you will at least consider keeping the 6 cylinder and the 3 on the tree, so many trucks like that are either gone all together or have had their power train swapped.

I like the two of you! You should be telling people what to do if you have great ideas like this.

Sure I'm going to take it apart to clean it all up, but my family had the option to buy a 350/4 speed and passed 40 years ago. Speed limits top out at 80 around here and I have a much better truck for farm work.

I also I found out I love to yell "HAVE SOME RESPECT FOR YOUR GREAT-GRAND-TRUCK!" at bad drivers when driving this truck. If I take all it's guts out and put in a newborn drivetrain I couldn't do that anymore.

This truck will forever be driving straight up the tree!
