New to the forum. As you can figure with my user handle, I'm retired USAF. Flew AC-130 Gunships out of UBON RTAFB in the early 70's. Transitioned into the F-4 upon my return from SEA, then into the F-4C Wild Weasel program. Flew every variation of USAF F-4's (F-4C, F-4D, F4-E and F-4G). Retired after the 1st Gulf War. Now raise cattle and enjoy my grandchildren.

Currently in the process of restoring my '88 GMC V-Jimmy, which I ordered while stationed in Germany, with all the bells & whistles I wanted. Picked up in Aug 1988 in Texas. One owner truck with 150,000 gentle miles on the odometer

Welcome, and thank you for your service. I never served, but was damn close to enlisting at age 20 when Desert Storm started, and then it was over so quickly.

Thanks for the welcome.

Have to go feed the steaks still on hooves tomorrow, will take a couple. We just finished all the mechanical/driveability work, so it still needs paint and tires, plus the interior re-do, so don't expect much!

Welcome from DFW.
Been working on an 82 k5 for the last 18 months. It's in paint now.
Good luck.

Great stories there, about your military career and then the Jimmy. I'd like to see that one in the Under Construction section and your now pics and then track it as you progress on it.
