I'd say square body Blazer/Suburban bucket seats. They look appropriate and are very comfortable.

Or buckets from something newer, from a wrecking yard. I have a set of 2011 GM seats and they are awesome.
With bucket seats you can have a FLOOR console!

You must sacrifice to the square body gods every day for a fortnight.
It's a rather "involved" commitment that is not to be taken lightly - nor is it for the casual observer. One must have true love for your square son, seek deep inside yourself and ask if you are ready.
Your square body love must be of the purest form.
Then go forth with your faith in the square body gods to protect you and seek ye Suburban seats and console.
Whatever you do, do NOT try to hack in a pair that was sourced from a Z-28. I don't care how good they match!

Oh there will be fabricating, which I look forward to. I'll have to build a little sub frame attached to the floor, that the new seat frames will bolt to.
It's a bit of pissing around but not a big deal.
