I can not get this pulley to line up, I replaced the pump with one I've had traveling with me for years and since then I can't get it to line up. Same pump as the one I took off so what gives? Do I need different mounting brackets?

Brackets mainly were all the bolts are. Were the brackets connect to the pump and the block. If we can see the mounting and what brackets are in use it'll help figure out why it's not sitting correctly.

Did your old ps pump pulley have 2 grooves?

Aren't those pullies pressed on? I've had similar issues with other cars, whereas the mount was bolted on the front of a tab when it should have been on the back of the tab.

Make sure that the bracket bolt that goes into the head is installed, if it has one. Mine was off a bit alos, no quite that bad, but then I noticed it was missing the bolt that went into the head. It lined up nicely once I installed it.

The one I took off of it did yes, my truck doesn't have AC so I put the single one back on could reuse the belt that way too

I bet the pulley is a different offset.

Most likely the AC bracket was bolted under the PS bracket on the bolt at the head. Without AC, you should be able to get it lined up by putting a spacer under the bolt. Since you said it was fine before, there may have been a spacer that fell off when you unbolted the pump.

Probably need a 1/2 inch spacer. Change the spacer length until it lines up.

There are bolt on with key way and press on pulley style pumps.

From the picture, it also looks like the shaft is pointing down as well, so the pully isn't even parallel with the others. Maybe there is a missing spacer between the bracket and the front face of the pump similar to the big blocks?
