Never heard of an aluminum block 305. Now I wouldn't be surprised if he used an aluminum Buick 215. That was later sold to Rover and was put in landrovers and TR8s. I could even see an Oldsmobile aluminum 300,due to the similarities to the aluminum 215. Not sure but I think either of those could be close to bolt in using some TR8 MGB GT MGB GT V8 and rover parts.
Going off memories from 30+ years ago. What I can confirm is that they were v8, aluminum, and fast as hell.

Absolutely. I love the way a 4th gen SS Camaro or T/A looks, but that's it. I hate driving them. A 3rd gen on the other hand...

Other than winter driving, the 3rd gen F-body was my favorite daily driver. Just pure fun and comfort. I've always thought the 4th gen cars drove about the same, just not as comfortable.

I have never been comfortable in a 90's Mustang. Not just because of the Ford thing either, lol.

One of these days I might get around to getting this one some fresh paint and a new motor. It's been sitting in storage for the past 5 years, the AZ sun has not been kind to it.

Agreed. The 4th gen cars sat you wayyy too low and there's no hope of seeing anything past the edge of the dash. I could never get comfortable in them.

I've never owned a foxbody but the SN cars I'm very comfortable in. I'm not super tall, I know several of my 5' 10" buddies could never get comfortable in my SN's but they were ok in Foxbodies

I am 5'11" and with Terminator seats in my SN, its mint! They are not as comfy when driving on long trips though.

The only thing I like about Mustangs is that when you catch up to one on the road, there's a good chance of seeing a pretty Gal driving it.

I never got my hands on a set of Termi seats but I did put Mach 1 seats in my '98 Cobra and then obviously had them in the '03 Mach. Those seats are super comfy all around

They are so much better than the stockers. Unfortunately, I had to get some new rear seats

Suspension pushed the exhaust into the floor pan and I was chasing a lap time (got it by the way) but it got the floor pan hot enough to catch the seat foam on fire. Then it didn't help that because of the smell I left the windows down for the drive home on the trailer. I looked in the rear view mirror and the cabin was filled with smoke. Luckily, I got the melted seat out and put it out without much incident. Was about 10 seconds away from using my fire extinguisher.
