Well after owning this truck for just a few months I blew my head gasket, never over heated just started spiting coolant out the over flow. Used a Napa block tester to confirm the blown head gasket.... might as well get the whole thing rebuilt. Its a stock 350 with a Gen 2 TBI. 4 speed manual...
My 77 runs great, but every time I shut her off she spits some coolant out of the coolant reservoir.
Replaced the rad cap with a new 16 pound safety cap. Old one looked pretty worn out.
She does not run hot at all.
She does have a puff of white smoke out the left tail pipe at start up.

I have a really nice cloth bench seat in my 77. I bought a beaded seat cover that is pretty marginal at best and really doesn't help with the amount of sweat. What do you guys use as seat covers to increase air flow?
I know most likely it is just how it goes with these trucks but was hoping...
