“78C10BigTen” I used Meguiares ultra cut compound and a 7” wool wheel. I expected it to bring it back a bit but I had no idea it would come out this great. I can’t wait to finish up the rest of the truck!- Sergio729

“Shiftpro” I just don’t have the money to fix everything that needs to be done and get a quality paint job. So I’m trying to remove the surface rust/stop the spread and preserve the aged paint that is still hanging around.- Sergio729

Like the title suggests I'm trying to get one of those sweet patina paint jobs on my old truck. So far I'm just scrubbing the absolute hell out of it with some CLR and a Scotch-Brite pad. 74 vs 75 GMC pickup grill
Why does it seem like stuff for a 75 GMC is so sparse ? I feel like they make everything under the sun for the same year Chevy and for a fraction of the price but I can hardly find anything for a GMC. “75gmck25” Did you have to change the hood latch as well? I’ve got a grill for a 77 but it... -

74 vs 75 GMC pickup grill
Hey everyone I’ve got a 1975 GMC k25 and am looking at my options for which grills fit. The truck came with a grill in the bed which I assume is for a 77+ and will not fit at all. I’ve found a couple 74 grills for sale on eBay but I wasn’t sure if 74-75 years were interchangeable? -

Thanks everyone! She’s looking pretty good so far I’ve done an engine swap, new tires, gauge cluster bezel, carb and fresh leaf springs.
