    I only found out after I put new warn manual locking hubs on, no workie. Promptly took em back off.

    ….so I can throw it back together right away. I’ll buy the whole kit, clutch disk, pressure plate, throw out bearing and pilot bearing. I know it’s best to pull it first bit I need it to go back together quickly. thanks !

    Question about wood bed stain and sealer for my 1987 Stepside

    Finishing up with the restoration on my 1987 shortbed Stepside 4X4. I’ve ordered the new bed wood in pine and was wondering what color stain (if any) and what kind of UV resistant sealer to use? Trying to keep it as original as possible without painting it black (factory they came painted)...

    thanks, I figured I might just leave em on but I paid a couple hundred bucks for em so I think I’ll install them on my 1980 3/4 ton 4X4 that has the original hubs on it (205 case) or just save em for a future truck. :driver:

    Since I have no problem sharing my screw ups….here ya go :banghead: I thought all along I had a 205 transfer case in this truck, couldn’t imagine any thing else in it being a 3/4 ton 4X4, I’v had a few over the years and all 3/4 tons were 205’s that I owned. well this fella has a 203 in it...

    Going to try and buy these this evening, 100 bucks for 4 of em, I’ll probably buy 4 new 255/85/16’s, the rims came off a 1998 K3500 Should do the trick :boti:

    except never, ever buy a truck with 16.5 rims…do a search and see how few tires are offered.

    On a separate note, I’d sure like to throw a set of these 10-16.5 Coker Tires on it but not for $319 each, excluding tax, mount and balance. :sad72:

    Question….do y’all think that 1994 Chevrolet 4X4 16 inch 8 lug wheels would fit on my 1974 K20 ? Bolt right up with no issues ? Lug nuts, clearance ? thanks
