Wiring Diagrams
I needed one for my '79 k10, so I made one. :) I think yours will be the same. The service manual does not give fuse values for CHOKE or GAUGES. If anyone knows the correct values for these I will update the diagram :)- PeterHutnick

Steering stabilizer removal
Everyone has their formula. Mine is, soak with penetrant for 2+ days. I like Liquid Wrench, many swear by PB Blaster or ATF + acetone. Put the puller (like WP29P4A pictured) on it and tighten until the threads gall (or maybe just a little less ;-) ). Heat it until it just glows, then hit the...- PeterHutnick

Sure. It's what they call "rust free" in Michigan. But I can put my hand through the rear arches. And driver's floorboard. And the fenders and doors are pretty much trash. The frame has been very throughly rust proofed by diffs, PS pump, transmission, and maybe the transfer case flinging various...- PeterHutnick

I recently purchased a 1979 K10 that has been 350 swapped. (It was an I6 flavor from the factory.) EVERYTHING leaks.
