Where to go for alignment?
When you do find a shop to handle the task, be prepared to shell out a flock of dollars in labor time charges. 4x4's use a tapered shim behind the hub and the disassembly/reassembly to install them can be expensive.- mtnmankev

Not enough Edelbrock 1406 fuel pressure ?
I should replace those rubber lines, as it has been many years and lots of ethanol gas, and many of us have had experience with deteriorated rubber lines from that crap. Plus, I have a bad habit of running multiple fuel filters and there's a chance each tank has a filter at or near the intake...- mtnmankev

I do remember finding this gremlin, to this day never have been able to explain how that wire ended up soldered to the bulb's terminals as the bulb had NEVER been removed since it was installed brand new.- mtnmankev

And make sure you lubricate the threads on the puller real good. With truck on jackstands, I always put floor jack under the lower control arm to add extra safety and control.- mtnmankev

Yes, with the truck sitting level, fill until it just barely starts to run out the hole. And, as a general rule I was taught back in the 1960's, if you can stick your pinky in the hole, aim downwards, and you have gear oil touching the finger close to the first joint, you have plenty of oil in...- mtnmankev

Look at the passenger side of the front part of the differential for a fill plug. A 3/8" square drive will fit it.- mtnmankev
