Finally! A cup holder that doesn't take up space on my seat. From Oreilly, magnetic and a good magnet. Says it holds 8 lbs. Derek Beiry at VGG bought these for his mustang for a cross country trip. Works great. Part # PTT0051 -
Most affordable shipping for body panels?
It's 621 miles from here to Kansas City, and the same back. 1240 miles/14 mpg = 88 gallons, at $3/gal=$270 to drive there and back. AMD wants $800 for one way. It would be a nice road trip if it wasn't kansas and sunflower season- justhorns

31x10.5 with 3:73 gears.700R4 trans. What RPM will I have at 70MPH?
Your rear end should be (2000/2734) * 3.73 = you need a 2.72:1 rear end for 70 mph at 2000 rpm. Look at tire circumference to refine this calculation.- justhorns

Its simple. For each 1 engine rotation, the driveshaft will turn 1/0.696=1.43 times The rear end lowers the rotation from 1.43 to .383 wheel rotations (1.43/3.73). So, multiply your 0.383 by the circumference of the tire 97.4" for a 31 (approximately, but go and measure your own with a tape...- justhorns

Well, I fixed it now. Pulled the inner cable out and lubed it with graphite spray.Put its back in and no more jumping. It doesn't move at all. Harumph. Measured it while it was out, 62". I do not know where I got 105". The cable slides out of one end or the other and nothing. I fix these... -

Hey, my speedo cable is going wonky in my 81 C10 4.1L 250 6 cylinder, with saginaw 3 speed tranny. I put a cable in a few years ago and it was 105", and it was too short by a little. Now I look, and the longest is 80". What? cannot find a good listing and LMC doesn't say how long theirs are... -

I install Vintage air systems, and have crimped on the ends with a very fancy crimper that I rent from them. They are available for rental elsewhere. Its easy to do. -
