    Removing instrument panel - dealing with the oil pressure line

    The smaller in length the better for behind the instrument cluster. I have always disconnected from behind. I'm sure disconnecting from the engine side is double I just tend to kink the copper lines when i mess with them on my 1973.

    It is designed to channel hot air from the exhaust manifold to a value in the factory air cleaner. No exhaust just hot air.

    I ran into the same type of problem with the same setup. My line, rubber hose, and slipped down and was on the valve cover so it was getting hot and causing a vapor lock. I am of the same mind set that inline filters and rubber hoses can be a fire hazard but they have been that way for years on...

    Rust Options

    I agree, using POR 15 seems like it should be easy and for the most part it is but the prep is critical and time consuming. I recommend to be ready to use the whole can of POR 15 because closing and opening can more than once can be problematic.
