Well after all new rear brake parts - shoes drums adjuster kit spring kit parking brake cables it Still does it!! Grrr. I don't know what it could be and it only does it when stopping from over 35 mph
So my drive shaft will bolt right up then? Also on the front axle to swap the gears isn't it just having to pull the front axles out a little then the diff and just swap it or no? Lol
Ok so I was checking on craigslist and a guy near me has a set of front&rear axles compleat for sale says the front is a dana 44 and rear is a 14bolt 10.5 inch 8 lug full float and both axles have 4.10 gears.
He said the guy he got them from pulled them from a 78 suburban.
Now will...
My cables are pretty crappy I think I'm going to unhook the line at the t on the rear end and put a plug in it so the rear brakes won't work at all and test it on my road (not busy road)
Then see what that does.
I brought them and the guy said they have been turned befor and there not enough left and said if it has been turned to much could cause only the middle of the pad to touch.
It feels between cab and box and my truck doesn't have a arms just steering knuckles and I've replaced ball joints allready also the cab mounts are good and box is secured down.
Is this possible to do on a k2500 8 lug truck? I'm pricing a compleat overhaul on rear brakes and it's pretty costly if I could do a disc brake swap I much rather do that.
Well I still have some issues to fix like parking brake cables have drums turned I'm going to get new rear brake adjuster kit. I've never had it Alined as I only had it for a few months now. But when driving down the road it goes stright and no left/right vibrations in steering wheel at high way...
