I was going to get a different flex plate and converter, yes, I have the parts truck, so that won’t b an issue, if I need to buy a kick down module no biggie, and to hook up vacuum for modulator. 84 3/4 ton 6.2 drive train into 1987
here is my dilemma, My truck is a 1987 v10 ,305-700r4 ,4x4 with 35s . I had my current 700r4 rebuilt, installed it, couldn’t back out of garage , no reverse!! So I pulled it took it back he “fixed” it . I installed it took it for a drive, it won’t shift out of 1st gear now ! I have a 1984 ...- Bigdaddyjak

i Loosened the tank and lowered it a bit, I noticed 2 wires,(it’s hard to c anything at the topside of frame when tank is in) I had ounces them between the frame and the tank bracket . Repaired them, truck is running . Thanks for all the help guys !- Bigdaddyjak

Key off, orange wire, 12v at relay, 12 at the block that goes thru the firewall and 12 at 10am ecmb fuse and 12 at tank. Still no feul at injectors, I can feel the feul line has pressure, it is hard. Can’t believe the filter could b that plugged ! I will pull it off next I guess- Bigdaddyjak

So I couldn’t get my fat fingers in to change the bulb, but I got some pressure on it and it lit up, the 4x4 didn’t, but I didn’t mess with it- Bigdaddyjak

When i got this truck the PO, was a hack ! Installed a system !! So it has a stereo with sub and box behind seat , and mist of the dash lights and gauges didn’t don’t work. I have the feul gauge, speedo and oil pressure were working , but the lights weren’t . The break warning and seat belt...- Bigdaddyjak

87 gmc, I will try it and c . I forgot to mention . Truck will fire up if I put feul in the tbi, so it’s not a spark issue, it is feul delivery somewhere . Thanks !- Bigdaddyjak

When I turn the key once the seatbelt light comes on, when I turn all the way to engage starter the break light on dash lights up , (these 2 lights are next to each other) I don’t think SES, is coming on . 1987 Chevy 1/2 ton 4x4 , 305 tbi. Feul pump went, replaced it. Now I can hear it , no feul coming out of injectors . I’m only getting 6volts at tank . I changed they relay and OPS. No change . Gonna pull the tank again and start tracing it back from there . Any suggestions? Thanks .- Bigdaddyjak
