I think that the pump in my tranny is gone. Ever since I got the truck it took a while to shift into gear when it was cold, but had no problems after it warmed up. A couple of months ago the tranny went out while I was driving and the truck stopped pulling. Now if you try to put it in gear it...
The wheel doesn't click when its not under load. And no, I didn't change the races. The felt smooth to the touch, but that still doesn't mean anything... I hope its not the wheel. They're a set of vintage cragers..
Thanks for the warm welcome. I have repacked both front bearings, thought that would solve the problem. At first, I thought it did, but the sound came back within an hour of driving. Then I replaced them both, but still had the same result.
I'm new to this forum and I want to start out with a question. Has anyone ever experienced a clicking noise when making turns? My truck clicks when I make sharp right turns, and slight left turns. From the outside of the truck, the sound seems like its coming from the Drivers side front wheel...
