    Man, I would like to see pics! Think I have narrowed it down to the Bart 15X14 with 33X13.50. Saw instagram pics and guy had 2" spacers. Would 2"spacers keep me from having to grind? Additionally, I have read where some put wider spacers in the rear. Is that because the rears stick out less?

    Myba d guys, I was thinking my truck was a C20 but realized it's a K20. To put both 5.3 and 4L60E will I need adapters for both sides of the transrer case? Easier to do this than keeping donor engine, tranny n transfer?

    Just checked... From Summitt they show 4 inch back spacing. That would mean most of the rim is sticking out correct? 412-54_ 15 x 14 39# 4" (3.5" for 8 lug only) From BART website.

    I have read both 3 and 4 inch back spacing. I really do not want to lift it byt I'm thinking I may have to. I like that look and have always wanted to have it that wide. I'm thinking the 33 inch tall will be pulled down by putting the 13.50 tire on it. Wondering if just grinding the brake...

    Two questions guys for a 84 C20 4X4: 1) Bart wheels has 8 lug 15X14 rims. If I get them will I be able to get away with just grinding the **** off of the brake caliper? 2) Thinking of going 33X13.50 tires. How much lift will I need and could I get away with just a little trimming? Thanks...

    You know, I've thought that too because that motor was designed for FI. Just trying to find a way for the 5.3 to work. And put it in with the budget I have.

    Will I retain the C20 transfer case or since I will be using both the donor engine and trans will the donor transfer case work?

    I'm guessing the fuel tank in the 01 will not fit in the 84? About what guestimate on price to complete the conversion (including labor for I am not mechanically inclined) would you assume total cost would be? Thanks so much for your help.

    TH 350 vs 4L60e

    I have an 84 C20 4X4 and thinking of different options. One is rebuilding the 350 in it. Another is transplanting the 5.3 in it and another thought is putting both the 5.3 and 4L60e in it. What thoughts do you guys have as far as whi trans is better to have? I'm thinking the 4l60e woukd give...

    I have found that I will need the motor mounts because of where the 5.3 sits in the engine bay. With the frame of the C20 would I need a special set of headers? Can the pcm from the 01 Z71 be used in the 84 and if so can ibe flashed to take out the 02 sensors? I have a complete running 01 Z71...
