starter question
The staggered pattern works with the fly wheel and trans but was on the fence about drilling and talking the block for that patteren so I just said the heck with it and bought a new motor- 82k10on38s

starter question
No the truck is a straight drive truck and its using a flywheel out of a 88 k10 because in 85 Chevy went to a 3 inch crank instead of the 3 1/2 inch crank in the gen1 motors- 82k10on38s

Yeah I know about the teeth on the fly wheel but the problem is that the nose cone on the starter for the straight across bolt pattern will not fit into the bell housing though for some reason lol but I have decide to ditch the 305 ho motor I have in it now and go back to a gen 1 350 small block- 82k10on38s

Don't know if this is the right are or not.. but here we go I have a 89 305 camaro motor in my 82 k10 which is the 4 speed manual. The starter bolt holes on the camaro motor are side by side I tried to put in a camaro starter but it would not fit in the bell housing. But my old starter from my...- 82k10on38s
