I've had a couple rigs with the fuel tanks in the cab and everyone else is always freaked out by it. But I've always figured if someone hits me hard enough that it breaches the cab, breaches the tank, and ignites the fuel...I would probably not be around to ever know the tank blew, nor would I... -

I have a '76 C10, the rubber fuel filler hose leaks like a sieve. I am not having much luck finding a new one, does anyone have a part number I can search for? Trying to find it locally if I can. -

Big Block Spark Plugs
Must be older heads or an older motor. Any idea when that cut-off happened? Pre-'76 as far as I can tell, 95% sure the motor from the donor truck is original.- 79ramp

Big Block Spark Plugs
Trying to figure out a part number here. I have a 454 which came out of my '79 C30. The spark plugs I took out (which I did not save because I am a moron) were sized for a 13/16" socket. When I pick-up new plugs, they are sized for a 5/8" socket and the threads don't even reach the hole...- 79ramp

Rear Brake Lines
I don't think I even have a load sensing valve on mine, IIRC. Either way though, that would definitely be a lot of twists and turns to try and navigate with a 15'-long brake line lol. Knowing myself the way I do, I will probably be lazy and bend the line from the last union to the rear axle... -

I think I know the answer to this one but figuring it can't hurt to get other opinions: is there any reason for the two unions in the front-to-rear brake line other than ease of installation/fabrication? One of mine is leaking, I suspect due to a bad flare on the SS line. My '79 is a cab and... -

What is this?
Thought I'd post a quick update: I ended up bypassing and removing this module. It was pretty easy, didn't even have to re-wire anything. Ignition and tach wires were plugged into part of the harness, simply unpluged there and plugged them into the distributor directly. Runs like a champ...- 79ramp
