    I'm going to try removing the low speed feed from the resistor module. Low speed is not going to defrost a window.

    Thanks, still stock 6 cylinder , 3 on the tree. Not taking any chances with passing smog in CA. Could use posi upgrade.

    If removing one wire will eliminate just low speed, that's the way to go.

    Planning to go the oem route with the rear mount. Good point on the shadow issue. Need to get some orange wire and do it right. Thanks for the comments. Really pleased with this square body forum.

    Where does the light mount, front or rear, and which way did the wire go? Looks easier in the back.

    My 79 C10 Custom Deluxe didn't come with the overhead dome light.I see part # 36 4630 in LMC. Is that what I want? Any problems running the wire?

    Hydro boost install not working

    I discovered not enough travel on the master cylinder by using a pressure gage. Had to lower the master cylinder to get the 1 inch travel. Worsk fine now. Do you get the push back on the brake pedal when the engine starts?

    Thanks. The local high-school auto class had painted it with school bus paint. I sanded to metal and primed with Eastwood roll on primer. Ended up spraying, too much roller stipple.

    Thanks for the heater blower history lesson. It will now run forever. I did find a wiring diagram in my 1979 service manual. A lot easier to read than the reprinted diagrams I bought online. Unfortunately, first try with heater hoses connected, I'll be changing the heater core.

    Good to know. As others mentioned, a switch would solve the issue. It's a new motor, I'll let it run for a while.

    79 C10 6 cylinder. Heater motor will not shut off when ignitionison. 3 speed switch works fine. Can not find another switch in the wiring diagram. Is there a switch actuated by the sliding controls?
