    Exactly the kind of info I was looking for Catbox. I guess I will just drop the original single exhaust and start plugging away. I have the thick gaskets and ARP header bolts. These area used Facebook marketplace purchase but the part number relates to square bodies so here's hoping! Thanks...

    Thanks Doppleganger, good info. I guess I will just dive in and see where it takes me, and see what if anything needs to be modified. The headers are supposed to be for this style of truck I just didn't know if being a 4 speed makes a difference. Brad

    The transmission I have has three grooves in the input shaft, I believe this denotes a 3.50 first gear.

    Thanks Double dingo, Winter is setting in here so in the next month or so I will yank the engine and tranny. Going to freshen the 350 bolt on the tranny and then see what I run into.

    Thanks for all of your replies fellas. I do have a bellhousing from the Muncie we put in my sons Nova so that is all good. Seems to me the biggest issues may be the crossmember, finding a yolk for the Saginaw, perhaps driveshaft fitment and replacing the tunnel. I have heard that these are...

    Honestly I have heard different stories from various people, but the consensus is you dont want to throw a bunch more than 300 hp through them.     The three groove is the one I have found, I believe I have 3.08 gears in the back but have yet to confirm. Sounds like you had that combo dialed in. I know these Saginaws dont like too much power but the muncies and t-10s were like 3 times the price!
