Wide Tires on 2wd

Loose valves
It all started today when i was just tired of a sluggish 4 barrel(only 2 barrel operate??) I had a 400 2barrel in a 79 camero. It was a absolute blast to drive. I checked timing it was way off. Is this cab worth trying to save?!
Those photos look identical to mine. All my rust is mainly 2 floor pans. 2 bed wheel tubs and one bottom door rocker. I spent 75$ so far on new sheet metal. Rust of course has at the paint on the chassis but ima coat that with sprsy on liner. Id say save it. This is my daily driver so work will...- 77chevy400

High torque starter?
Which im clueless if its a vacuum ran carb for 4 brrl or double pumper. I know when i stomp it it dosent open the 4 brrl. Im missing 2-3 vacuum lines on it. There plugged off or just missing. It did. Like a hard start. Pumped it 4 times qnd by the time i flipped the key. It started. U dont know how to adjust a carb. If it's in the front, it sounds to me like your rotors are warped. My truck has 109,000 on it 9,000 on a fresh drivetrain. NP208 Rebuild_Level of difficulty?
No special tools that i can think of other than measuring devices. Ive never rebuilt one but heard it takes 2-3 hours if your not used to rebuilding one. But im sure theres probably going to be 3-4 speciality tools you might need. Sent from my Reddot R50 using Tapatalk- 77chevy400

700r4 only shifts when I let off the gas.
My 77 c10 was like that. Long story short my 305/350 was swapped out for a 68-72 400sbc with a 700r4 out of k1500. It was shifting according to this.. 1st gear would max out at 30mph.
