Need Help!!!! Going thru all the post and just need to know what's the difference between the HEI with vacuum advance and the one without. I have an '86 without the vacuum advance and just want to know if I could swap it out with one with a vacuum advance. I am having issues with acceleration...- 1986_GMC C2500

Cold air at my feet and not to much in my face. Also no defrost...WTF
Thanks guys Found the problem and it's the small door that is broken at the hinge. Didn't want to mess with it and just cabled tied it to close it. As well as connecting the vacuum line correctly on my carb. Now I can feel the cool air on my face with this Texas heat.- 1986_GMC C2500

Cold air at my feet and not to much in my face. Also no defrost...WTF
What could be the problem as to why I'm having this issue. Turn my AC and majority of the cold air is at my feet. Also nothing comes out when I put it in defrost. Any ideas before I start tearing everything apart.- 1986_GMC C2500

Fuel Gauge only works for one tank
I own a 86 GMC 2500 and recently the wire that reads the fuel level was yanked from the firewall inside the motor compartment. Formal owner had all of the wiring hanging everywhere. I was able to connect the wire back in but my issue is it only reads only one tank. I switch tanks but fuel gauge...- 1986_GMC C2500
