no but ill do that. and mans its running like a pig

So then it likley really is misfiring on #4. How about compression on that cylinder??? If you don't have a tester, can you pull the plug, put your thumb over the plug hole and have O'girl crank the motor. Or if it's recessed down in the valve cover hold your palm over the hole. Just to find out if it's got good compression.

IIRC, the Honda Passport was just a re-badged Isuzu Rodeo. I don't remember those Isuzu motors having much wrong with them, the V6 that is. Say, is this truck a 4 or 6cyl?

Or is the Rodeo a Rebadged Passport. I know they are both the same other than the badges.

It's the other way around, it's a rebadged Isuzu. Worst Honda that Honda never built, haha.

OK, I wasn't sure which is was. So best to avoid both Rodeo and Passport then. Sometimes you can get a good deal on those rebadgings. Not long ago when GEO was ****, you could get a GEO Prizm for next to nothing, and it was nothing more than a rebadged Yota Corolla and a very good car if you wanted something to get from A to B.

Right. But to make things confusing, the Isuzu Oasis was a re-badged Honda Oddessy.

Izusu must be a *****. It just jumps in bed with anyone, American or Foreign. Obviously in bed with GM and Honda. Isuzu has S-10 pick ups and Trailblazers too that were rebadged.

Different car, but my v6 has a design flaw in the #3 intake port that causes excessive carbon build up on the intake valve, if you dont buzz it up to 6k every now and then, so the valve rotates.
It throws the code when it gets bad, and I just introduce a 1/4 can of seafoam into the intake through a vacuum line (after the engine is warmed up)while the engine is running at about 1500 rpm, and let it die, and sit for 20 minutes, and then restart it and put on a smoke show for the neighbors.....clears the problem right up.

Thats the only other thing that I can think of, if a compression check doen't reveal anything. Could be an intake manifold gasket leak at #4, underneth where you cant get to it.
