No - it's brand new, but is probably the eighth or ninth big block that has been in the car.

They tend to hover anywhere between 555 and 624 cu in as of late.

They are an old set of 320cc patriot freedom series heads.

The cam is a Bullet custom grind solid roller I ordered to go with those heads years ago for a 496 I never finished due to lack of funds ha ha!!

Hence the reason for “budget” heads.

So... I had that cam and all the valve train parts to go with it for those heads from long ago. (Springs, titanium retainers, locks roller lifters ect.)

The truth is I spent more on the cam and components than I did for the heads.

A lot of this 572 build wasn’t on purpose, it was a collection of parts I have had from my years of gathering and hoarding bbc stuff when time and money permitted.

That’s the long way around telling y’all what the heads were. But I figured the next question would be why? lol!!
