honestly though this jig perfect for the camaro, I should have built mine to flip the other side up, more spots on the pass side and that's the side down low on the floor.

A rotisserie would be awesome but it takes more room. I like that jig you built.

after messing with this one 1/4 I wished it flipped to both sides. I may end up doing one side then trying to lay it down and flip the jig around if possible, and flip the other side.

looks like a 60s Impala, early 70s roadrunner/GTX and the Camaro in the background.

No pictures of the Roadrunner, but I got others.

It's a '71 with a 4 spd. I don't know what was under the hood, but the thing was super clean. Of everything on the lot, it was my favorite.

Flat hood indicates SBC.

I love those 71 camaro's but the more I look at this one the less I like it. What's with that air dam molded in and the huge rear fenders? Looks like someone had this thing and then got jealous of the new ones in the early 80s and tried to match that.

the 80's lol that's why fender flares on all 4 corners and running some deep dish cragars in back to attemmpt to fill them out. They should have done 12's in back with that much flare. Clean c3's for sure.

Guessing it's not a real Baldwin Motion car and just a clone.

My google abilities tell me the hood is a close match if not right, but not the "body kit". My Dad had some huge cragars on his camaro with n50 mickeys. He just let them hang out. I think he got a few tickets somewhere between KY and SC in a state where that was illegal. I guess that would be the only reason I would do that to a car and it still makes more sense to tub it. IMO

The flares and molded in spoilers/scoop is how many were built back then. It looks like it was built in the 70's or early 80's. The tires were old as dirt. Same with most of the old cars there. The tires say they hibernated somewhere the last 25 or 30 years.

removed one trunk drop off, revealed some crappy work in the back which I kind of knew about anyways. I really think the full rear tail panel is gonna need to be replaced to make it right and add strength.

Doing all of this revealed that the flange where the drop off meets the trunk pan is crap so gonna have to maybe use some angl eiron and make it better, not looking to remove a trunk pan. It also showed that the outer wheel house in back had some issues a piece of flat square metal just bent over no weld and some undercoat thrown over it, rust etc. looks almost factory though? I also saw that of course they did not weld that big flat steel tail pan patch they did into the 1/4 patch they stair stepped the crap out of. Also that highest square in the 1/4 well once I cut the tacks off the main big patch, that one fell out, like nothing was holding it but bondo. The patch panels you can buy do not go that high in back so I'd have to patch the top and then put in a patch panel, and try to get to the drop off before doing so, and not really be doing anything with the outer wheel house. So honestly I think it needs 1/4 skins. You can se where their patches were the wheel well lip itself is gone on the well and they made a patch to come over on the 1/4's but nothing on the wells. This side is the better side the pass. there's nothing to do but replace it because the entire wheel well is shot. I also started working on the torque box on the pass. side and guess what, no spot welds holding the torque box to the floor on the inside, only the outside and some thru the frame section into the torque box. I thought that was kind of weird.

I'm with ya on it needing a quarter skin on that side.
