Tire fitment

I have an 84 suburban half ton I have a four inch lift for it front springs and rear blocks I wanted to get springs all around but found it local and it came with the lifted steering arm. I also have a three inch body lift so I'm looking at about 7 inches and I want to get 37x13.50x16 boggers with some rims from summit the same version as those white spoke trailer type rims but black they're priced good and I like the look.

I'm pretty sure I can fit 37s with 7 inches, I don't want to trim the fenders. It has 2 inch lift blocks on all four leafs which is how I bought it, I wouldn't be afraid to run those along with the 4 inch lift if I have to.

You think they'll fit??

Depends on your wheel back spacing. A 37x13.50 is a biggo tire. I think your going to have some rubbing while turning.

Are you saying there are lift blocks on the FRONT springs? If so dear god get rid of that ASAP it's a death trap.

They're two inch lift blocks and I'm not using it for highway driving or anything...yet. And I know all of the talk about lift blocks in front. I bought it like that, but I do know that they drove it like that for a long time and made really long trips, I don't know I kinda have mixed feelings about lift blocks in the front I probably would never do four inch blocks but I'm not very worried about the two inch blocks

And I would have gone with 36x12.50x16 but I want boggers and I couldn't find anything between 35s and 37s. I'll definitely get some grippy all terrains for normal driving but if I'm going mudding I want some boggers ha

Just because they did does not make it right. I'm not going to tell you how to live your life or drive your truck but lift blocks in the front is not right and a bad idea.

I'm not saying it's right that's just how I got it. I have four inch lift springs to install and four inch lift blocks for the rear.

The rims are the Daytona style rim and it has about 4.5 inches of backspacing. I won't be able to fit those tires on ten inch wide rims woud I? I would probably have to get 12 inch wide? I can work on anything on my suburban from rebuilding my motor and everything in between my diff. but I still haven't bought any tires or rims so I'm not completely sure about fitment, even though I can't count how many tires I fixed at work haha

That tire will easily fit on an 8 inch wide rim, and at that width and 7 inches of lift, it should clear OK.

And I also agree that those front blocks should be out of there lickety split. Very dangerous. I need to take my own advice though, I bought a Burb last year with blocks up front and I STILL haven't removed them

Someone needs to get on me about that.

As soon as it warms up enough I'll be putting my lift in and they will be gone, I hate not having a shop
