Has anyone ever swapped the newer stock blade style fuse box into an older truck with the glass tube style fuse box. Just curious as to how much trouble it'd be and if it's even worth it.

I know I might be nuts, but it's a hell of a lot cheaper to pull a fuse box out of a junkyard truck than it is to buy a new Painless Harness.

I had thought about it before, but couldn't think of a good reason why it would be worth the trouble. I never blow fuses, and if I ever do, I have plenty of glass fuses.

And I just realized I had bought a spare dash harness a few years ago, I wonder where the heck that got put...
