Still 6am here bud! Have another guy that hopped on the party, we’ll be starting this morning. :Big Laugh:
Nice, hoping it all drops in easy! Thought mine would give me a struggle, but it litterally fell onto the block dowels like butter. Best of luck!

It's lunch time now, done yet?? :Big Laugh:
Well, that was a FIGHT. I think it was the combination of the dowels and the new motor mounts that were a little fat from front to back. It didn’t help that the small garage limited the angles we could use to go at it, but we got it done. Or at least, the bolts are in the mounts and the bellhousing bolts are all in. Taking the rest of the day off, I’ll go at the accoutrements over the weekend after I work tomorrow.

Yeah it is a workout for sure! Had to go get my back cracked after. My helper left me hanging on Wednesday, so manned up and slapped that sh*t in myself! Dang two installs in the SAME WEEK! Freakin stoked!!

Six hours of garage calisthenics will do that to fella. Let me guess- your hips hurt from rolling around on the floor and your neck is sore from holding your surprisingly heavy head up?
Yes, all of this! And I feel like someone took a sanding wheel to my shoulder blades, haha.

Over the past few days I’ve gotten some work done in my spare time. Assessing the depth of the torque converter and setting it up right took some time. Got that done and bolted to the flexplate, headers and exhaust bolted up, starter in and took some time to protect the wiring with DEI heat shield.

Cooling system started and got the radiator in today. In the next day or two I should be able to button it up as well as the transmission cooler.

I might have to take a side journey to the speedometer cable since I forgot to disconnect it and it got yanked on and is now leaking some fluid around the coupler. I bodged it for now with some Ultra black and a hose clamp around the coupler to tighten it up, but it will need to be addressed.
