Possible new site for parts

By chance I discovered this site (scam site) while looking for a throttle rod retaining clip. I found my item and then began searching "door lock solenoid", "alternator", "brake master cylinder", etc. They had the items which I believed were fairly priced and free shipping. I don't know about quality but may be worth a look and a try. I have ordered the clip (pack of 8).

Two hours later, I still have not received conformation of my order or an order number. Maybe I just blew $15 but I will let you know. Maybe this was AI generated but the https:// is what made me think it was legitimate.

Ya, my research found nothing good about that domain.

This is a fraudulent site even though it has an https:// in its address. It cost me $15 to find out and had to cancel my VISA card today when I was notified that Chase had denied a $2,100 charge at Lowe's pending my authorization. Maybe there is a special place in hell for these types.

Well fellas, you aren't going to believe this! Today at 2:50 am, I received an email from [email protected] with a very long (18 numbers) order number from a place called Order Center. It confirmed receipt and payment for eight clips and said that a tracking number would be sent in a few days. It also said to reply to the email with any questions. Meanwhile, I am waiting for my new VISA card to arrive. WTF??? I will let you know if that happens. I think I will go outback and check the wood pile.

Well, the jury is still out on this one. I received a message today that my order had shipped with the tracking number. The message also indicated to allow 20-30 days for an international shipment. Since most everything comes from China, maybe this is somehow coming from the factory and eliminates some of the middle men? I'll let you know if I receive the retainer clips.

I think its case dismissed. Doesn't make sense to wait a month or more for something you can get for under $2 locally.
