Hello everyone.

I'm looking into performing a CCV delete on my L5P Duramax and would like some clarification before proceeding. Can anyone explain the pros and cons of deleting the crankcase ventilation system on this engine?

I've read that it can help reduce oil vapors in the intake, but I'm also concerned about potential issues such as increased engine wear, warranty problems, or legal concerns.

For those who have done the CCV delete on an L5P, did you notice any performance improvements or maintenance changes?

Any advice, experiences, or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

For those who have done the CCV delete on an L5P, including the popular ccv delete l5p procedure, did you notice any performance improvements or maintenance changes?

Any advice, experiences, or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance for any help

I’m not deleting it on mine but I’m doing the vse reroute. That is suppose to put the oil back into the valve cover better than the oem. And it also moves the oil fill tube to in front of the turbo pipe and makes it easier to put oil in.
