^ There are head units small enough to fit in the ashtray compartment. I forget Wetsounds or Kicker or both maybe. Marine audio head units.
Love the truck.
My dad’s first squarebody, 74 C20 454 truck with the same side pipes I put on the 77….because of that old truck….. had a built in stereo/8T/CB radio.
One very fond childhood memory talking to truck drivers, lookin out for Smokey’s up ahead and stuff!!

Going to try and get the 6 cylinder out next week, get the frame prepped for a mildly hotrodded 350. Aiming for drivable by the end of June. Dad turns 81 in July, I refuse to fly out of Memphis or into SeaTac… Plus if I drive I can bring the rest of my stuff stored there back to TN… 1876 Winchester, 1873 Springfield, 1957 Panhead chopper…

Guns are easy to check on a flight. Chopper not so much…
That’s a hike for a squarebody! But a hell of a nice drive (except most of Indiana to the west half of MT or WY, the part that is 6900miles and 3 weeks to get thru…feels like that anyway)
