Well, I didn't plan on it. I wasn't in the market for any fixtures, but when I acquired some, I thought to myself "hey, I will probably need these".

It was worth the ask, and I'll buy it if you decide to sell it. If it is a J-3289 it's for holding the 3rd member of HO52/HO72 for servicing. The attachments on the ends are different than the regular plates.

It actually is 3289.

From my research, it was repurposed by Kent Moore over the years for additional uses. The brackets on mine are supposedly for a powerglide.

Last night I was trying to figure out how these held a 3rd member of an HO52, and now that I looked at the photos it's for holding the entire axle. I can see this being handy for the Dana axles if I decide to remove them when being rebuilt. I do appreciate your outside of the box thinking and ingenuity.

That nut driver set looks awfully familiar. I think my dad had one similar when I was a kid.

they are not cheap either.

Yeah I'd definitely either hang them up high enough to be above my head or down low enough to be below the waist I think
