I adapted a V6 Buick to a 911 Porsche bellhousing. And merged the Porsche flywheel to the Buick crank. I started with a 3/4" aluminum plate big enough for the Buick bolt pattern. Place it on the mill, bore a hole that just fits the engine crank flange. Make transfer punches to screw into all the engine bolt and locating dowel locations. Slide your plate over the crank, using the crank as your index center. Tap each transfer punch location to mark your plate. You'll need to do the same to a Ford engine to get your Ford pattern, unless you are lucky like I was,the Porsche transmission had a round locating register inside it so I able to use the center hole and lathe to turn a step onto the plate that fit snug in the bellhousing and held the plate centered to transfer my transmission side holes. Use counter sunk hardware to hold the plate to the engine, tap holes to screw the transmission to. For the flywheel I cut the center out of the Porsche flywheel made a new center with the Buick bolt pattern, with an interference fit and chamfered edges on the pressure plate side. Heat the flywheel, freeze the center, put them together. Weld front and back. Thinking about it I had to use a Porsche flywheel, you may get lucky a 454 flywheel may fit in that bellhousing and pressure plate may work with Ford TO brg. IDK. Then you'd just use a Ford disc chevrolet pressure plate and flywheel.
