Okay so 3 Fridays Thanksgiving, work, kids, weather... You get it. I'll say this, my dash won't ever look as good as yours lol

I threw in some arrows for clarity in my dirty bent spaghetti wire mess. Red for clips, yellow for alignment holes. See I am missing my lower right clip.

Not sure if my dash is bent, but this may be why the lower right clip is gone. I'll have to get a better look at this when I reinstall.

I guess the dash was deformed when the opening for the radio was made bigger and the stereo installed.

Thanks for the picture! I'd run with it maybe put a spacer in there depending on how it looks when you get it all back together. Only you will notice it after it's all back together.

I cut that out for the CD player. With whatever crappy tools I had at the time. If I could go back in time, I'd slap my own hand. That was 20+ years ago though, and there weren't cool shaft radios with Bluetooth back then.

Well since @legopnuematic answered my main question in post #10, I'll just post what else I did in case anyone is interested

Since I had the diesel installed I had to do a few diesel specific gsuges. EGT, Boost, lift pump pressure. The guy at the shop did a great job on everything except he put these gauges where they're pretty tough to read while driving. So when reinstalling I needed to move these upward.

Went ahead and removed the useless pocket. I don't know about y'all, but everything I ever put in here fell out while driving.

Then I crafted a custom place to put the boost and EGT gauges. There wasn't room for the fuel pressure gauge so I got createive and put it further to the right in the dash (pic later)

Circuit repair. Found why my right indicator was wporking intermittently. Pulled a little copper out of some wire and soldered it on.

Pulled power from the temp gauge for the new volt gauge per the doc linked earlier. Worked like a charm.

Back togethter! Note the fuel pressure gauge over to the right. That was the easiest possible place without re-dioing all the wiring. It's also not vital to see all the time.

Now that I have a volt meter I realized my alternator is shot. I thought the headlights were kinda yellow last few times I drove it. I'm also still working on getting the tach interface working. The truck is running in this photo. All in all I'm pretty happy about it. This truck has always been for camping and wheeling and never a nice restoration.
