Converting idiot lights to gauges

I have a 1982 k20 and I went to the junk yard and pulled the new gauges to replace my idiot lights and I was wondering what are the new sensors thst im going to need if someone has done this before and if they have the part numbers I have a 350 in it right now
The photo os of the gauges i pulled i did end up pulling 6 so I have two of everything judt incase one doesnt work the only doffence is my oil pressure gauge one is mechanic and ones electric

The coolant sensor I used (which has worked flawlessly) is a TU65 from AutoZone. I imagine it is easily cross referenced.

The oil pressure sensor can I can’t find the number for- but it is easily found. Just search under your vehicle year and make sure you read the details under the part- it will usually say “for light “ or “for gauge “. I can’t find the part number for that one.

Crappy parts aside, I’ve had astounding luck with AutoZone. When I look up parts like this stuff, it is spot on. FWIW. Will it work in a year, that’s another story.

I imagine if you are going to gauges from lights, you may need that printed circuit for that application, but I could be wrong.

Yeah, the electrical pinouts are not the same. And if one of the donor clusters has a mechanical oil pressure gauge, it's pre-'78 and also a different pinout.

The sendors are not the same year to year. You have to match your senders to the year of gauges you are using. I believe there were 3 for temperature. And 2 for oil pressure+ the mechanical.pressure gauge.

I believe there were two for oil pressure, but it was engine dependent. Some (most or all small blocks) were 60psi and others could have been 80psi.
