I have 86 C10 - debating on tinting windows as it is hot here in Florida. Want to keep it as original as possible. What do you guys think? Any pics of this model with dark tint? Other option may be to just do clear UV tint.
Thanks

I plan to tint my truck, I've been rocking the fish bowl look and am over it. It's HOT lol. Here's my buddy's '86 with 20% on the sides/rear and a 5% brow

I live in Louisiana so I know exactly what you are dealing with in Florida with no tint.

I personally think a decent tint would look superb against the charcoal gray of your truck.

I unfortunately have a haircut that allows the sun to burn the skin on my head so I had to Do Something. I had my back glass tinted but left the sides alone.

A 70% will be barely noticeable. If you opt for the ceramic tint it will block uv and has a very nice heat rejection.

Something to think about, and enough people here to school you on it. As in IDK the different degrees of tint, but I've had to remove tint on cars I've purchased because it cut down my night time vision. And I've got good eyes.

Don't know your state laws but don't give cops a reason. I will tint the back window(s) but fronts are asking for a pull over in the Peoples Republic of California.

Just to add some more info, ceramic tint looks darker from the outside than regular tint but is easier to see out of. I have 20% on my daily and it looks like it's 5% most of the time in the daylight, but it's easy to see through at night. Not to mention it reflects heat much better than regular tint

Tint! You’re in Florida Ri Da ffs. Florida has pretty decent tint laws as well iirc. It should, it’s sunny and hot as balls down there most of the time!

I grew up with a truck and no air in Florida. Let's just say the one guy with A/C got all the chicks.
