I am in dire need of Original style, OEM, or rust-free original 6.2 diesel-style 700R4 transmission lines. AFAIK, the Th400 ones are almost the same, but longer. (According to a friend). I no longer have my original ones, and i need them to finish the restoration so i can move the truck. I know these are 6.2 specific bcuz they go on the DR's side and not Pass like Gas. (Typically, I've seen). I know USA1 industries & LMC truck sell them, but I've talked to those who bought them, and they are for GAS. Not what i want or need. I'll pay UP TO $75 for Original ones + Shipping. I am in SW, Michigan. I would entertain a WHOLE 1982-83 Parts trucks. C10 or K10.

Picture for example. (Red part). Ignore the Green.

A whole parts truck for trans cooler lines?? Wow lol.

Just get bulk hard line and have someone bend them or do them yourself. Four flares and some fittings and you're done.

Look up "InLine Tube", my experience with their product was exceptional.

Another option would be to use transmission cooler hose. If you have old hard lines with good ends, you can cut those off leaving a couple inches, or the bend plus a couple inches, and use those instead of buying hose nipples/barbs. I always double up the hose clamps when doing that, just as extra insurance; never had one slip.

Yep... It is THAT BAD. Simply practically nothing exists aftermarket for the 6.2 diesels AT ALL> I've already parted out 2 complete trucks JUST For the Diesel specific parts. Plus I am doing a show truck restoration... so yeah. Not at all interested in AN fittings or making them myself.

If you read my thread, I have Nothing of my original lines or anything related to it. only the radiator. I'm doing a show truck restoration reason why i want/need Original.

I did try. Several times. Very rude too me. They simply stated that they do not touch or mess with anything "rare or super uncommon" and not at all interested in Diesel. Go figure...

I’m glad I’m not the only one who has had that experience with them!! The people who staff the venders booths at the various races/car shows are obviously not the same people who work in the office.

Several months ago I took a mini road trip all around Detroit, I left early in the morning so I would arrive right when inline tube opened. I walked in, the guy looked at me with a look that said“oh great, someone carelessly left the doors unlocked so a customer can walk in and an attempt to make a purchase!!!”

I’m guessing your options are either carefully bend your own, try to adapt lines from a similar drivetrain, or hydraulic hose.

in-line tube has already lost my business.

Story time: I bought the TH350 Lines from the In-line tube. For my Early 78-80 (A) G-body Pontiac LeMans (Sister Malibu car) with the Buick 3.8 v6 N/A and TH350... Well... Guess what. Bent and routed completely differently, I had to bend them quite a lot due to V8 Radiators being 1" wider (Approx) than the Skinny 1-2 Row V6 Radiators, also get this!? Not EVEN mentioned or listed on their site, they are for V8 ??? That is what i call FALSE Advertising. Smh. $77, and they wouldn't even give me a refund!?. Crazy.

So I'm pretty sure V6 is different, since going through this Debacle nightmare. My lines are super kinked, and i had to cut them to put in two compression fittings, though it works. It looks like Speghetti in there and Annoys the Crap out of me. Waste of $$...

NOT going through that again with my square body. So yes, i would buy another whole truck just for lines.
A REAL PITA When Factory restoring one of these diesels. nothing is available at all... Fkn aftermarket common crap..

Geez.. not to sound like a jackass but if you're restoring you ought to be able to handle this. Flaring lines is 101 stuff.

Reminds me of my cranky neighbor who restores pre-WWI cars. He's next level, and loves to **** on the resto guys who order all their chevelle parts new. Meanwhile he made pistons for some 1902 International engine he's working on.

All good, Doing this kind of thing isn't my "Field" of nerd level per say. lol. I bought this truck 10 years ago as a Basket case, found out later on it was an "uncommon" now rare... 1/2 ton diesel, and started from there. I never thought it'd be this difficult to find a small item such as this. I have a contact who has what i need but has not gotten around to it yet.

As for your neighbor... Age is getting to me and I'm only 27... Lol. I do that sometimes to. Hence why all the NOS stuff has skyrocketed, cuz they know it's miles better than aftermarket in many cases. Flaring is on my list to do.
