Howdy, I just got my first Chevy, always owned Ford before this. It's an '85 C10, has the 305 & a TH350, flowmaster 40s, an edelbrock 1406, rust free truck.

Traded my '67 Mustang for it on account of these having sentimental value to me, it's the last truck my grandpa had before he passed away in 2001, so I always wanted one.

Could be! My neighbor spotted it on Parker rd in Plano back in 2022, that was the original photo I posted.

The engine needs some help, there's some sludge in there, leaks here and there, broken wires, vacuum lines, but I'm going to get it all cleaned up.

Oh ok, it's prob the same one. It was off of 982 in the Branch area. Sounds like it just needs a good ol fashioned tune up. You're in Allen? I'm just a few miles from you. I'm currently restoring a 78. Maybe you can drop by sometime, send me a PM if you like.

It's been cool finding out more about the truck through locals, certainly has a noticeable paint job...

I am, that would be cool, I usually go to the Morning Maniac shows in McKinney, or Mustang Sally Productions.

I pulled the plugs the other night & changed the wires out (some were wrapped with electrical tape) but the truck is in good shape, no rust or rot anywhere. Just the sludge in the top end. Y'all have been helpful & recommended just changing the oil & running it. Coming from a Ford I would have to clean the entire thing out.
