Went back to installing the rear u-joint, somb!tch went right in. Installed d-line in truck, greased the joints and went for a drive. No more click noise or vibration. Yeah me. Time to celebrate with a beer or 3.

Put exhaust tips on my truck. Had this exhaust system on it since 2012 and never got around to putting the tips on until today. Hooker 3.5" tips.

I've been looking at the Kitsap from Ebay and Amazon but it seems the reviews are 50/50 hopefully I can get a good kit, hopefully I can get one with the right pieces or even all the pieces which judging from the reviews it seems that's an issue

Most of the kits on ebay dont have reviews, but the ones are Amazon are 3 star, one says everything perfect, and one says took 2 months to ship and wasnt the right fit or was missing pieces

Nah - that's all that hifalutin fancy stuff.:anitoof:

I actually do not have a buffer pad - did it by hand.
Crappy day at work yesterday - this was rherapy. Did a bit of the hood and a few spots and was impressed.

Well, gotta finish the hood, and oh, let's try the roof - end result is that most of the upper paint got done last night. :p

The paint on the roof had a horrible while fade to it - I won't lie and say it is perfect, but color is trying to come back.

I will hit it one more time later and then deal it with wax.

Best results I have had so far - used Turtle Wax rubbing compound followed by finishing compound, Turtle Wax, and Nu Finish once a year wax previously.

It comes out better on a hand held drill with a cheapo pad then wipe clean with a mico fiber. I was going to use maquiers wax over it but it was expensive so i didnt.
