Stock. I couldn't find an 85-up setup anywhere and didn't want to pay the core charge on a reman one at the parts store. Is the 85-up that much better that it's worth the extra money?

Yea, it was in my build thread.

I went through several of the '84 wiper motors and they just kept failing in different ways. Since I work at a shop, I was able to send the old style wiper motor back and get it replaced with the newer style. IIRC, cost was the same or maybe even cheaper. The motors with the built-in washer pumps must be too complicated for the 5 year old workers in the Chinese rebuild factory. So far, the later style wiper motor is doing great.

Oh yeah, yesterday I mounted a set of rallies on the C10 and today I put on a chrome '73-'80 front bumper. It doesn't quite fit with the 80's front clip, but everything on the truck finally matches now.

Usually does`nt take the whole tube, I usually start with about 1/3rd and mix it with prestone afore dumping it in the radiator.
I`m a goin to have todo this to Mine tooo, radiator`s been leaking for a very long time now, even before I got the pickup about ten years ago. Time to put a stop toit.
Long as its down on prestone, might be a good time to pull the intake and do the TBI cornversion.

I Like.
Might the A/C system be over full on freon ??? Juz wondering if that`d cause that problem.

r134 cans it took 4 cans bcs the cans hv less than r12 but the high was 200 an the low was 40 which is ideal

I do have a preference to the color. If it was red I'd still drool over it, though :D

It was a pretty simple fix, but it made a world of difference. We've had a couple torrential downpours since then and it hasn't leaked a drop.

Yea, we've been in a severe thunderstorm warning every night this week and a tornado warning almost every night. Several tornados have touched down, but they stayed away from the towns and only took out a couple farmsteads. I'm glad we're getting some much needed moisture, but I've had enough of this crap.

On the topic of this thread, I polished a spot on the ds bedside and it IS the same color as the rest of the truck. It's just been repainted at some time and oxidized quicker.

Ordered a pair of Thrush glasspacks and a Edelbrock 14x3 air intake. Hopefully wake up my little 305 a little. She tows like a freaking mule but has always been a little weak at takeoff for just driving around.

Finished cleaning an painting stuff for the 78 today. I'm done an should start putting it back together Monday. Everything from the control arm cross shafts to the rotors has been cleaned an painted. It will look bad up against the dirty stuff, but I've got to stop somewhere or I might as well start the frame off...
