Interesting... This was my first teardown of one. Hopefully I got it back together correctly and I can get it in the truck soon. I think I have all the necessary pieces.

Since that thing sits nice and high I need a favor when you have time to kill? Can you measure the rear floor cross member under the third seat that the body mounts bolt through? I need the outer dimensions of height and width so I can fab something to slip over it. I'm not going all the way across so I don't need a length. Just wanna make a top hat shaped piece I can slip over the original, might be a foot long tops, that I can slip over it and bolt the flanges to the floor and remount the body mounts.

Will do! Although mine's getting very crumbly looking too, I think it's still there enough to get some accurate measurements. If not, I've got the other Burb I can look at.

Still waiting on parts for the engine bay....thought I would go ahead and start prepping for my CB install....
Ran an 12v outlet, inline fuse, into my center console...fortunately its large enough Ill be able to mount it all in there....out of site...and run an external speaker:
What Im expecting it to look like...
Cb will actually sit a bit higher to allow for power and antenna cords.

Welded up the open holes in my inner fenders,bead blasted and filled minor imperfections.
While I was waiting for the filler to harden I took out my bench seat and placed the low back buckets and console I got from the free donor truck in to see if I like the look. Going to have to fab up a set of seat tracks if I go this route. What's your opinion, go back to the bench or stay with the buckets?
This is what happens when you keep the camera in your back pocket while media blasting. Might be time for a new camera.

What color interior are you going to do? If it's something that works with that maroon, I'd say go for it.

Dang, I like that. Do you have a brand and PN? My junction box is pretty crowded because I changed some of my cab power/alternator wiring, so if I could clean it up with one of those, that'd be awesome.

One more thing today:
So here is another Charlie Foxtrot, compliments of the PO, Im working on sorting out.
Forgive my crude graphic, hope you can make sense of it, specifically the yellow lines: but your looking at the inside of my pass frame rail.
1) Its the wrong filter
2) Why are the lines looped to it?
My guess is theat they were too lazy or cheap to buy the fittings and do it right.
Ive already got the supply/return lines from the filter forward pulled. There's enough SS line to get there from the fuel rail.
Ive got the right fittings enroute to run the appropiate ACD filter.
So Ill be good up to and out of the filter, same with return line. From there its not going to be perfect, but it will work untill I can get back under there and continue the SS lines to the tank....
...instead of what it was; from the tank forward it went....
hard line-rubber line-filter-rubber line-hard line-rubber line-hand bent hard lines-fuel rail.
