I’m ready to start cab swap but I think rain is going to hit.

So instead I worked on instument cluster and headliner.

Those pics remind me of when I put my '83 K5 out of it's misery. It looked about like that.

And hey, at least they welded the floor in. It could have been screws or rivets or even rtv. Yep, I've seen panels held in with rtv... even a quarter panel, lol.

Been cleaning the 350 block and heads the last couple days, found the cam bearings are chipped, not sure if happened during removal, but I guess I'll be taking it to machine shop to have it taken care of, was hoping to just clean it up, hone it and throw it together, now it looks like it might need bored as it looks like 6 and 8 piston were a bit floppy and possibly were catching at the bottom of the revolutions, I wish I could say it was where antifreeze was sitting while it was apart but everything was torn down and removed except cam bearings, can have it tanked, honed new bearings, and line bored for 500 in town, the heads are cast 369 so I'm not sure what to do about them, so far they don't seem to read as very good heads
