no the pin is correct. it is all the way out as you can see from the top of the pinion pin i can stick a nail all the way thru the hole. nothing in there. its the other side any way

here it is
They usually slide out sometimes with a little coaxing but I take them out hole end first. Usually the carrier has self clearanced itself against the hardened cross pin making it easier to remove.try to work it back threw the other way if you can.

so once i get some advice on how to get that MF out of there, then i need to buy a new pinion shaft. so can anyone tell me what rear end this is so i order the right shaft?

By the looks of that retainer that pin was moving and should have come out relatively easily.

Pinion shaft? Do you mean the cross shaft or did you chip the pinion?

there is no way to move it. i had to slam a huge hammer to move it a centimeter. i have put vice grips on it tight and tried to hammer them to make it move. wont budge.

not sure names. hahaha the shaft i am trying to get out. need to order another one because this one is jacked up. has to be if it wont budge maybe bent a little?

at this point, how do i get the entire center stuff out to where i can take it to my vice and work on getting it out?

Do you have a torch or a butane torch? Sounds like the carrier is trashed that pin should all but fall out. If you do put a little heat on the carrier around the pin and see if she loosens up.your gonna have to bring it out the other way.

You gotta get the pin out to release the c-clips and pull the axles to get the carrier out.
