Agreed but a chuckle every now and then doesn't hurt either.

I took a momentary switch and wired a couple of 2' pieces of wire to it with alligator clips on the ends. Clip one end to the switch side of the starter, the other to the hot on the battery and you wont need her to hit the key for you, thus saving your marriage lol. I know that **** can get aggravating, when I have to bleed brakes you'd think I was asking her to walk 5 miles to the store and back for me.

Or you could step back, take a deep breath and then run down these simple diagnostics:

To test the ignition coil:

TEST 2: Set your DVOM scale to RX10k or higher. Touch the probes between the "BAT" and the carbon pickup for the coil. This reading should read between 6000 and 30,000 OHMS. Outside of that range the coil is bad, replace.

This is definitely the issue. Its open.

I mean, she's all willing to help. She likes doing projects with me. She just takes things way to personal when I start getting frustrated. ha.

I didn't even ask after awhile to much hassle. People know I keep shine up here on the hill so usually try to grab one of them on their regularly scheduled visits. Lol

Haha, thats what I need, neighborly motivation. Except all those bitches know I was working on the truck for a few days now. I live in a cul de sac and I am the middle house.

Trip to the firing range then?

That needs to happen. I have a new S&W M&P Shield that hasnt had a round put through it yet. And thats sad b/c I like the feeling in my hand more than my SR9C. But then Im sad b/c the SR holds 17... which even if I bought mag extenders, it would only get ... 11? hahaha.. choices choices.

I have a Shield, it's the most accurate sub-compact I've shot so far, I think you'll like it. I hate the trigger though. Supposedly the new ones have re-worked triggers instead of that sloppy, clicky, mushy thing with the terrible reset I have now.
