I am looking for pictures of trucks with minimal lift for a large tire

I want to "lift" my truck soon. However, I hardly want to lift it. I want to find some nice tires first and then lift it as little as possible (without cutting fenders though). I love this look.

Any pictures you have would be greatly appreciated so I can get some ideas. I'll start with one (attached) of a truck that I have saved to my computer that I think looks absolutely perfect. And then a little something a little different. ;)

I agree the look is definetly beefy but remember that once offroad everything changes. If the suspension can flex more than your fenders can accomadate then you'll end up with munched sheet metal. I'll go out and snap a pic of one of my trucks that is sitting on "rollies" that are pretty big, looks sweet lol...BRB

This truck has 4" of lift but with no engine or tranny/t-case it's ridin' a little high. I'd guess 5.5"-6" in the front, rear is probly just 4". Tires are bald-ass 39.5" Boggers...

As you can see here if you did much more than drive to Dairy Queen and rev your motor at the hotties along the way this tire would destroy the fender area of the bed. Its worse in the front 'cause you gotta take into account steering...

Its totally do-able to have huge meats with not much lift but you'll have to cut. It can be done tastefully and without looking like ****.

FWIW both of the trucks you posted had trimmed fenders to clear those tires...

I did notice both of the trucks I posted have been cut. I don't want to cut mine because I'm not sure if I want my truck to look like this forever. Maybe one day I'll begin the restoration process. But that'll probably never happen since the things I do to my truck now are way too much fun to quit to have a prettier truck. So maybe I will cut.

Your truck looks freakin' sweet, especially in the back. The Chevy in my original post has some damage to the front fender than almost looks like exactly what you are describing happened to the extreme.

You could do what I did. The piece you cut off the fender, weld it back on after shoving it flush against where you cut. It leaves the rolled edge and flair of the fender design. Just finish it out with some fiberglass bondo and you cant hardly tell it's been cut. I got some pics here somewhere...

a guy on CK5, mountainexplorer, used to have a K10 with 4" of lift and 37s... the PO sectioned the fenders, making the wheelwells bigger.

That was Pritchett canyon in Moab Utah, at Blazer Bash '03. Most fun I've had with my clothes on! :D

If we had that kind of terrain around here, I'd be all over it. Too bad we don't.

I have 35's with 4 inches of lift still have the sway bar and I'm going to have to trim to go off road.
